Weekend meal bags
For some children in Mason Consolidated School District, Friday lunch is the last proper meal until Monday breakfast. Every Friday a bag of their own goes home with them — shelf-stable breakfasts, lunches, snacks and drinks. Most of it a child can open unaided; a few items just want a minute in the microwave.$3one bag, one weekend

Blessing boxes

Who we are named for
Bobbie Stafford
Bobbie was an elementary school cook for years. She would pull a child aside at the start of the day and again at the end, and send them off with something to eat — quietly, without ever making anyone ask twice. She bought coats and shoes out of her own pocket. She died in 2022. Bobbie’s Staff is what her family and her community built to keep it going.To serve Mason families first by eliminating food insecurity in our public schools, ensuring all students can participate fully in school life regardless of ability to pay, and supporting families with essential household needs when help is needed most. Having eliminated old lunch debts, we keep looking for ways to help students and their families wherever and whenever possible. Gifts are spent on food and direct assistance — nobody here draws a salary.How do I become a volunteer?
