BOBBIE’S STAFF IS A 501C3 THAT WAS FORMED WITH THE INTENT OF ELIMINATING FOOD INSECURITIES FOR MASON KIDS AND FAMILIES. TO THAT END, WE HAVE ESTABLISHED 2 “BOBBIE’S BLESSINGS BOXES” TO SERVE THE MASON COMMUNITY.

A BLESSINGS BOX IS A SMALL PANTRY THAT CAN BE ACCESSSED 24/7. AT ANY GIVEN TIME, YOU’LL FIND NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS, HYGIENE ITEMS, SOMETIMES CLOTHING ITEMS SUCH AS HATS AND GLOVES. THERE IS NO CHARGE TO TAKE THINGS FROM THE BOXES. THEY ARE THERE TO HELP FOLKS WHO NEED A HAND.

WE ENCOURAGE THOSE IN NEED TO TAKE WHAT THEY NEED. WE ALSO ENCOURAGE THOSE WHO ARE ABLE, TO LEAVE WHAT THEY CAN.

THE LUNA PIER BOX IS IN FRONT OF THE LUNA PIER BRANCH LIBRARY AT 4349 OAK ST.

HE ERIE BOX IS IN ITS PERMANENT HOME AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE ERIE TOWNSHIP HALL (MANHATTAN ST SIDE) AT 2065 ERIE.

About Bobbie's Staff

Bobbie Stafford was a elementary school cook for many years. She went out of her way to make sure that every child was fed, no matter if they could pay or not. She would often pull a kid aside and give them some food at the beginning and the end of the school day if she thought they weren’t getting enough food at home Also, she provided countless articles of clothing, shoes, coats, etc. To children in need. She made a mark in the lives of so many kids that we can’t even begin to count them.

Our Mission

TO ELIMINATE FOOD INSECURITY IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS

TO ASSIST IN MAKING IN-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ACCESSIBLE TO EVERY STUDENT, REGARDLESS OF ABILITY TO PAY

TO PARTNER WITH SCHOOL TO KEEP PANTRY ITEMS AVAILABLE FOR ALL STUDENTS

TO HELP FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITY TO MEET HOUSEHOLD NEEDS WHEN NECESSARY

Have A Question?

Having eliminated old lunch debts, we will continue to seek ways to help students and their families wherever and whenever possible..

Our charity will be run by the people who will benefit from it. Mason students and parents of Mason students will generate all donations.
All donations will be kept local until such a time that there are enough resources available to branch out.
